Equipment

  • Autorefractor / Tonometer

This three-in-one machine can measure intraocular pressure, refractive error and corneal curvature radius.

    Intraocular pressure

A light air jet is blown onto the surface of the eye to measure the fluid pressure inside the eye.
This is an important test for glaucoma.

Refractive error and corneal curvature radius

The device automatically measures far-sightedness (hypermetropia), near-sightedness (myopia), astigmatism and the curvature of the cornea.

  • Corneal endothelial cell imaging device

Aging, lack of oxygen (due to contact lenses) and surgery can cause the number of cells to decrease.

Normal density is between 2,500 and 3,000 cells/mm2.

  • Auto lensmeter

Automatically measures the strength of glasses.

  • Visual acuity charts

We use two charts, one placed at 5m and the other at 0.9m.
High-resolution LCDs ensure a clear and stable image quality.

  • Microscope

Used in the diagnosis of conjunctivitis.

  • Slit lamp

This high-precision instrument provides a detailed magnified view of the eye. The digital images can be stored on a patient’s file.

  • OCT: three-dimensional eye imaging device

This machine allows the accurate examination of sections of the eye’s anterior segment (such as the macula and optical nerve), and also takes images of the eyeground, or fundus.

  • Octopus: static visual field measuring device

This piece of equipment automatically measures the field of vision. It is mainly used for testing for glaucoma.

  • Nd:YAG laser

Used for treating patients suffering from secondary cataracts that can occur after cataract surgery, as well as for the treatment of glaucoma.

  • Surgical microscope

    Used for precision treatment

  • Super Lizer

This machine applies near infrared light to the stellate ganglion to help improve blood circulation.

  • Kinetic visual field measuring device

Measures the overall field of vision (testing available only with appointment).

  • Hand-held slit lamp

Used for examining small children and for house calls.

  • acomoref

    Eye strain measurement

  • Corneal shape analyzer

    Measure corneal strain

  • Ultra-wide-angle scanning laser ophthalmoscope

A wide range of fundus photography is possible

  • Spot vision screener

Refraction inspection is possible from infants

Other equipment and materials include Ishihara color perception test plates, Panel D-15 test, etc.
